Joelle Joanie Siwa (born May 19, 2003) is an American Singer dancer, singer, actress, and personality. She is known to appear for two seasons in Dance Moms, along with her mother, Jessalynn Siwa, and for her singles “Boomerang” and “Kid in a candy store”. Siwa posts daily videos of his day-to-day on his YouTube channels, “JoJo Siwa TV” and “it ‘s JoJo Siwa”. Their fans are called Siwanatorz.
Joelle Joanie Siwa was born in Omaha, Nebraska on May 19, 2003, the son of Dr. Tom Siwa, a chiropractor from Nebraska, and Jessalynn Siwa (born Jessalynn Lombardi), an Iowa professional dance instructor. He has a sister, an older brother named Jayden Siwa, who is also a vlogger.
Siwa was a top-5 finalist in the second season of Abby ‘s Ultimate Dance Competition and the youngest contestant in Season 2. She appeared on the show with her mother and was eliminated in Week 9.
Siwa began auditioning for Abby Lee Miller ‘s ALDC Dance competition team in 2014 and was selected to the team in early 2015. [At the same time, she began appearing on the Moms reality show Dance Life, which follows the ALDC team.
In May 2016, Siwa released “Boomerang” for digital download and an earlier single, “I can do U Dance”. “Boomerang” discusses the issue of online harassment. His video was viewed more than 450 million times and received more than 2.5 million “likes”. In 2018, Siwa was named the Artist of the Year for the seats Vivid.
Siwa signed with Nickelodeon.
In 2018, Siwa announced that she will be performing her first major concert tour in 2019, titled D.R.E.A.M. the Tour. It is scheduled to visit a mix of theaters, outdoor amphitheaters, and stadiums, as well as indoor stadiums in a total of 52 cities in the United States and Canada. The tour is scheduled to begin in Phoenix, AZ on May 17. The first leg of the tour is scheduled to be completed on June 26 in Austin, TX, before resuming stage 2 on July 10 in Orlando, FL. The end date of the second stage is scheduled to be August 20 in Vancouver, BC, Canada.
