Shimmer and Shine is an American-Canadian children’s cartoon series created by Farnaz Esnaashari-Charmatz, and originally transmitted by Nickelodeon in the United States and Treehouse TV in Canada.
The series shows the adventures of Leah, a young girl who becomes a friend of two “Genius ” twins called Shimmer and Shine who come to help the girl to go through her troubles always contending her to perform 3 wishes every day, while they also stay in Secret of Zac, Leah’s neighbor.
The first season was animated in Flash, while the second went on to be animated in CGI. In Brazil, the series is transmitted by Nick Jr. and TV Cultura. In Portugal, it was transmitted by the Panda channel and now by Nick Jr.
